  1. What does your organization do?

    The North Edmonton Seniors Association is a recreation centre for older adults and seniors. We provide a wide variety of recreation, social, education, and wellness programs to individuals 55 years and older.   2. When did you become an organization?

    In 1978 the Edmonton Northgate Lions Club constructed a recreation centre on city-owned land, for Edmonton seniors and members from the community. It was at this time, NESA was created, the city's largest seniors recreation centre! Over 40 years later, our organization continues to thrive and succeed with the support from the Citizens Services Department of the City of Edmonton and from our good friends and partner, the Northgate Lions Club.

  4. If I were to donate funds, how is my money used?

    We have a responsibility to our membership, community and our partners and work hard to ensure long-term sustainability of the organization. Whether you would like make a donation to wherever the greatest need has been identified or if you would like it to be directed to a specific area, please see the Donate page for more information about how you can get involved.

  5. What is your organization's privacy policy?

    Our organization takes our privacy policy seriously and takes steps to protect and ensure the safety of our supporters. We do not sell or otherwise disclose information about our volunteers or supporters outside of our immediate organization. This policy has no exceptions.   6. Cancellation and Refund Policy

    NESA is a non-profit organization. The fees that are collected are used to pay for the instructors, program expenses, and for the cost of space. No refunds or credits will be given for memberships, programs, presentations, clubs, tours, or fitness centre transactions unless cancelled by NESA.

  7. Of course! Non-Seniors can become members and can be a part of all of the fun that goes on here! Look for the Under 55 Membership option in the Membership Catalog and get your membership today!
